I first heard her sing in the film The Last Unicorn and I always thought her voice was just incredible. It's so fragile but all the more expressive because of it. I was shocked to find her song from The Last Unicorn, Now That I'm a Woman, has been overdubbed by "good" singers in many videos on youtube. These profession singers don't hold a candle to Mia's perfectly, wobbly performance. I recently found this 1976 version of Peter Pan starting Mia. There's a lot of great songs in it, but this one really stands out. If you ever see me walking around or on the subway listening to music, it's probably something like this.
