Old Neighbor

When I was six years old the kid that lived next door to me hung himself in his barn. He was fifteen and his name was Rick. Sometimes when he was working on his parent's farm I would wave to him and he'd wave back but I didn't really know him. I always wondered why he did it. I guess I'll never know.

  1. That's a tough thing. I remember a girl in high school that was quite a loner and people tried to avoid. She was in one of my classes and I wanted to reach out. I tried a little, but I was pretty awkward and didn't really know how. I had my own insecurities to deal with. Quite a while later, I heard that she committed suicide. I feel really sad about the whole thing.

    1. No. Do you really have all this stuff? I don't think you quite understand the concept of CV and Gate.

  3. also, I'm having trouble trying to determine if my synths are noisey, need servicing, or are just old and have "character." I asked this on the JE forums abotu synth noise. Is it normal that the phones jack is noisey when plugged into a guitar amp? I have a juno 6, and when i use a quarter inch cable to plug it into a guitar amp, i hear a buzzing white noise without pressing any keys. However, this goes away when I plug the cable into one of the stereo outputs. The same goes for my rs09, which has a similar effect but to a lesser extent.

I don't know if this is normal or this is considered "noisy synths." Also, when I actually plug headphones into my phones jack on my juno 6, I can still hear the humming noise, but it's very faint and I can only hear it when the volume is turned all the way up.

    Help!
