Please don't experiment, stick with the tried and true methods. If you must experiment, do it in private, hide it under a bushel.

I know I have an extreme opinion of experimentation, I just don't think it's ever pleasant to listen to. Of course anyone who's making music must experiment, it's how you create something, but to me something that is experimental is unfinished, I don't like the idea of exhibiting unfinished work. I think you should push through your experimentation until the thing has become a thing!

This blog is about electronic music instruments made by the Roland corp. in the late 70's and early 80's (mostly pre-MIDI instruments that deal in wholesome CV and Gate signals). It's also about my conversion to Quakerism, my fondness for C.S. Lewis, The Epcot Center, eggnog, oatmeal flavored soap, etc, etc. Herein I will try to connect the real or imagined dots between them.
